I got to deliver the present…

So I can finally show it to you.  Yay!

This is one of the tippy-top secret things I’ve been working on.

Magendala David
Magendala David – Worth seeing larger btw.

The important bits are that this is a gift for the Rabbi who is leaving from my job.  We’re all going to miss him a lot.  There’s a bunch of symbolism, and he’s a guy who “gets” art and metaphor and all that…so he appreciates it.

Most importantly, he gardens, so there’s seeds toward the center, and the solid bar with the Magen David for God and Community and Judaism holding it all together.    There’s the rope for Religion (the root word “RELIGIO” means to “hold fast” like in nautical terms when things get rocky) and lots of growing sprouty things for his new endeavor in his new shul.  Then the dots in the background, like stars and randomness, but with the order of shape…kind of brings you back to God, you know.

So yeah…it’s a thing.  I love it.  ANOTHER CHILD RELEASED INTO THE WILD!
