I worked on Sekhmet, to get her skin a nice tawny color…

and while I had that tip on the burner, I darkened the background on the cartouches.

And lastly, I did some work on the turtle shell.  Coming out lovely, I must say.

Hopefully, more work soon.

That was a lot of patience to hold my breath on delivering THAT news.  I have the full entry here, if you’d like to see all the work leading up to it.  I think it’s my favorite “making of” so far…I’m just getting better at writing them and letting the images speak for themselves, I think.
